Champagne Truffles

These Champagne Truffles are a perfect treat for special occasions or as a delightful homemade gift. They combine the rich flavor of chocolate with the elegant taste of Champagne, creating a decadent and sophisticated confection. Decorate with edible gold leaf or sprinkles for an extra touch of elegance.

What You Need —

1 and 1/2 cups white chocolate or dark chocolate (chopped)

1/4 cup heavy cream

2 ounces butter (softened to room temperature)

1/4 cup Champagne

1 pound white chocolate candy coating

Edible gold leaf or sprinkles (optional)

What You Do —

  1. Heat cream and pour over chopped chocolate.

  2. Mix in champagne and butter and stir till smooth.

  3. If mixture is not smooth pop in microwave for ten second intervals to make smooth.

  4. Cover and refrigerate until solidified.

  5. Once hard scoop out by teaspoon fulls and shape into balls. Use cocoa powder or powdered sugar to help prevent sticking.

  6. Refrigerate again until hard.

  7. Heat chocolate melts in mircowave for 1 minute. Stir until smooth.

  8. Carefully dip each cold truffle into the melted chocolate. Let them rest on wax paper.

  9. Sprinkle with decoration as desired.

  10. Store in fridge.
